Meet the Crew

Pam & Bob Fincher

Many locals know Pam & Bob Fincher not only as Shawnee natives but also as second generation small-business owners in the area. After managing Graves for several years they decided to take the plunge in 1995 and purchase the shop, keeping the name of their beloved predecessors. Together they've spent their years as members of the Oklahoma State Floral Association (OSFA) and have served on the Teleflora Oklahoma Unit Board.
In 1974 Pam discovered that John Graves had helped develop the new floraculture department at Oklahoma State University and realized she could learn from one of the best. Now, over thirty years later, she covers all aspects of fresh floral design to silk interior designs and is the primary floral wedding & event consultant & designer. She has been an Oklahoma Certified Florist (O.C.F) for over twenty years, attended and helped set up many Teleflora Education classes. She's designed for artists at the OKC Airpark & ZooAmp such as Stevie Nicks, the Pretenders & Alison Krauss. While subtlety is certainly an art she's achieved, the big & showy work is what she adores!
Before coming to Graves in 1991, Bob worked at his family mechanic & towing business for over 20 years. That means he can not only maintain the shop's van but run deliveries in all kinds of weather! He maintains our standing orders for the cemeteries all throughout the year. He never fails to keep the books and the shop running smooth, but he's much happier entertaining customers and employees alike. Come talk hunting with him anytime!

Floral Designer - Cemetary Silks - Interior Silks

With over 25 years in the floral industry, Imogene brings much wisdom and old school know how to the table. Although she originally started out sweeping the floors, Imogene has worked her way up through all areas of the floral trade to a main designer in both silk & fresh. Imogene has an affection for soft pink flowers and loves to design traditional baskets, but always keeps an eye out for something new and different. She also builds our in-shop silk cemetary saddles, sprays & spikes hardy enough to ensure they last through the wild Oklahoma weather.  Everyone in the shop knows they couldn't manage without Imogene's mechanical mind and innate ability to locate whatever they're missing at the moment.

Horticulturist - Floral Designer - Interior Silks

Carla's background as a greenhouse grower is invaluable to Graves Floral. While the greenhouses are no longer operational here, her experience and wisdom of over 24 years in horticulture keeps customers well-informed on plant selection and care. She was a centennial graduate of Oklahoma State University in 1990 with a degree in horticulture and continued her education with hands-on experiences at TLC for many years as well as Country Cottage Primitives. Now at Graves, Carla not only manages our fresh plants but also keeps the window displays up to date. Carla loves creating sympathy wreaths and learning modern design elements, but specializes in rustic decor since she'll always be a country girl at heart. :)
